Giving minds think alike.
When it comes supporting breast cancer patients, Ford Warriors in Pink and our organization partners are of one mind: the more good days, the better. Here are some of the ways the following organizations have helped to create good days for those with breast cancer.
- Many breast cancer patients lose their livelihoods and ability to work during active treatments, posing the risk of significant financial loss. The Pink Fund goes above delivering one more good day – with up to 90 good days of non-medical financial aid. By covering the cost of living expenses, such as health insurance, housing, car payments and utilities, the Pink Fund helps to meet basic needs and decrease stress levels – two important factors in improving the healing and quality of life for breast cancer patients.
- As the world’s largest breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen® strives to give more good days to breast
cancer patients by funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit.
Komen also provides help to those in need with a breast cancer helpline, message boards, assistance programs and more. But one of the most amazing, heartfelt ways the organization touches the lives of those touched by the disease is through Race for the Cure.® Thanks to the largest, most successful fundraising breast cancer event in history, every race day becomes one more good day.
